Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in fast food or customer service environments beneficial

Job Duties

  • Prepare cook assemble and present food safely quickly and efficiently meeting gold standards
  • be knowledgeable of assignments for all kitchen stations including fries grilling frying assembling initiating and food prep
  • stock kitchen inventory as needed
  • keep kitchen neat clean and orderly at all times
  • keep up to date with new products rolled out by McDonald's
  • work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to leadership
  • maintain personal knowledge by completing ongoing training and stay up to date on any changes
  • complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
  • move freely in and around obstacles common in the restaurant
  • bend stoop and reach around behind and across restaurant equipment and furniture
  • responsible for the sanitation and operation of restaurant equipment such as toasters ovens microwaves fryers grills coffee machines drink machines etc
  • sweep mop deck brushing floors and baseboards
  • learn how to complete daily weekly and monthly planned maintenance tasks
  • speak enthusiastically to all customers with a smile
  • assemble food orders on trays or bags
  • assist cooks with food preparation
  • take payments for food orders and provide correct change
  • stock condiments paper supplies and beverage stations
  • assist customer via telephone and mobile app
  • assist delivery drivers with the same respect as team members
  • lift and carry push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • kneel bend twist or stoop
  • ascend or descend stairs
  • reach and grasp objects including above head and below waistline
  • communicate excellently verbally and in writing
  • clean tables floors equipment and other restaurant areas
  • follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food
  • multitask effectively
  • work on feet for several hours at a time
  • work weekends and holidays
