This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated McDonald's restaurant franchise. Unlike corporate McDonald's outlets, this franchisee is a separate company licensed to use McDonald's trademarks, logos, and menu items, operating with full autonomy in the management of their restaurant, including employment decisions. The franchisee handles hiring, firing, staffing, scheduling, and discipline independently without any involvement from McDonald's USA. This unique arrangement means that your employer will be the franchisee, not McDonald's USA, and all employment matters are managed locally by the franchisee entity.
