Job Description
Our company is a well-established airline operation committed to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service across our flight operations. We work tirelessly to ensure that every flight is staffed with the appropriate crew to operate smoothly and comply with federal regulations. Our scheduling teams play a vital role in coordinating and managing flight crews, including pilots and flight attendants, to maintain operational integrity especially when unexpected challenges arise such as inclement weather, mechanical issues, crew fatigue, and other disruptions.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- customer service experience of at least three years
- ability to multi-task and prioritize in a stressful environment
- knowledge of airline scheduling and reservation systems preferred
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- effective interpersonal and communication skills
- fluency in English
- professionalism and ability to keep sensitive information confidential.

Job Duties
- Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment
- ensures full complement of crewmembers for all scheduled and non-scheduled flights
- manages all reroutes and reschedules for crewmembers as a result of irregular operations including mechanicals, weather, sick calls, crew legalities, contractual issues, fatigue, and commute
- monitors pilot qualification completion and consolidation of knowledge and skills (CKS) to ensure regulatory minimums are met
- manages airline reservations for deadheading crew movement and books jump seats as needed
- provides direct oversight of reserve crewmember schedules ensuring cost effective utilization
- satisfies fatigue education and awareness training requirements annually
- assists with training new hires and develops tailored training plans
- maintains proficient understanding of collective bargaining agreements and federal regulations
- monitors crewmember legalities to ensure compliance
- works directly with third party vendors to resolve accommodation or transportation challenges
- assists with implementation of new agreements and software
- supports pilot new hire onboarding including job shadowing
- collaborates with flight and inflight management to resolve operational challenges
- assists with crew displacements
- monitors crew member check-ins to minimize delays and cancellations
- collaborates with SOC duty managers and dispatch coordinators to repair disrupted flight schedules
- utilizes business intelligence tools
- ensures high levels of service to crew members
- adheres to attendance policies and company procedures.
