Job Requirements
- Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business dictates
- physical stamina to work 30-40 hours per week
- ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, listen, and have close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision
- ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to maintain sanitation standards consistently
- pass sandwich preparation tests
- comply with dress code and professionalism standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to use basic math including addition, subtraction, and understanding basic fractions
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to maintain a positive attitude and work enthusiastically in a fast-paced environment
- capable of passing sandwich preparation tests
- ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures
- previous experience in food service or customer-facing retail roles is a plus but not required
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Execute genuine greetings and farewells
- take orders
- operate the cash register
- collect payments from customers
- make fast, accurate, and consistent sandwiches
- comply with all portion sizes, recipes, systems, and procedures
- pass sandwich tests within the first two weeks and future evaluations
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including tables, floors, windows, beverage station, and restrooms
- take telephone orders and complete delivery tickets
- fill out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity
- maintain a professional appearance in compliance with the dress code
- display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
- perform other related duties as required
