Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, listen, see close and at a distance, have peripheral vision and depth perception
- occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds
- physical stamina to work 30-40 hours per week
- willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business dictates
- ability to pass sandwich performance tests at required times
- comply with dress code and maintain professional appearance
- ability to accurately operate cash register and complete cash handling duties
- must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or fast food environment is an advantage but not required
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work effectively in a team
- excellent communication skills
- ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
- positive attitude and willingness to learn
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and understanding fractions
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Execute genuine greetings and farewells
- take orders
- operate the cash register
- collect payments from customers
- perform other cash handling duties
- make fast, accurate, and consistent sandwiches
- comply with all portion sizes, recipes, systems, and procedures
- pass sandwich tests after the first two weeks and in future testing
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including tables, floors, windows, beverage station, and restrooms
- take telephone orders and complete delivery tickets
- fill out systems and procedures with 100 percent accuracy and integrity
- maintain a professional appearance in compliance with the dress code
- display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
- perform other related duties as required
