Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a baker or finisher preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work overnight shifts including 6-hour shifts
- Meet safety and sanitation standards
- Work well in a team environment
- Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
- Ability to anticipate and understand guests' needs and exceed expectations
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a cafe or quick service restaurant preferred
- Previous experience as a baker or finisher in a bakery environment preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to follow instructions for recipes and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Manual dexterity for cake decorating
- Ability to adapt to changing customer volume levels with a sense of urgency
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest satisfaction, service speed, and product quality
- Meet safety and sanitation standards
- Anticipate and understand guests' needs and exceed their expectations
- Work well in a team environment
- Execute proper pre-bake, baking, and post-bake procedures for baked goods
- Decorate cakes according to design standards
- Manage cake and icing inventory
- Prepare icings and maintain cake decorating stations
- Maintain a positive, friendly working relationship with guests and team members
