Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience as a baker/finisher or cake decorator preferred but not mandatory
- meet safety and sanitation standards
- anticipate and understand guests' needs and exceed their expectations
- ability to work overnight shifts typically 6-hour shifts
- ability to maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- willingness to work on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- ability to follow instructions and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a cafe or quick service restaurant preferred
- previous experience as a baker/finisher in a bakery environment preferred
- previous experience as a cake decorator preferred
- ability to maintain professional appearance
- strong communication skills
- manual dexterity for cake decorating
- ability to work flexible shifts including overnight
- ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest satisfaction, service speed, and product quality
- set compelling targets and deliver on commitments
- meet safety and sanitation standards
- anticipate and understand guests' needs and exceed their expectations
- work well in a team environment
- execute proper pre-bake, baking, and post-bake procedures
- decorate cakes according to design standards
