Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience as a baker/finisher or cake decorator preferred but not mandatory
meet safety and sanitation standards
anticipate and understand guests' needs and exceed their expectations
ability to work overnight shifts typically 6-hour shifts
ability to maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude
willingness to work on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
ability to follow instructions and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

Previous experience working in a cafe or quick service restaurant preferred
previous experience as a baker/finisher in a bakery environment preferred
previous experience as a cake decorator preferred
ability to maintain professional appearance
strong communication skills
manual dexterity for cake decorating
ability to work flexible shifts including overnight
ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

Provide excellent guest satisfaction, service speed, and product quality
set compelling targets and deliver on commitments
meet safety and sanitation standards
anticipate and understand guests' needs and exceed their expectations
work well in a team environment
execute proper pre-bake, baking, and post-bake procedures
decorate cakes according to design standards
