Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience as a baker/finisher or cake decorator preferred but not mandatory
  • meet safety and sanitation standards
  • anticipate and understand guests' needs and exceed their expectations
  • ability to work overnight shifts typically 6-hour shifts
  • ability to maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • willingness to work on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
  • ability to follow instructions and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a cafe or quick service restaurant preferred
  • previous experience as a baker/finisher in a bakery environment preferred
  • previous experience as a cake decorator preferred
  • ability to maintain professional appearance
  • strong communication skills
  • manual dexterity for cake decorating
  • ability to work flexible shifts including overnight
  • ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest satisfaction, service speed, and product quality
  • set compelling targets and deliver on commitments
  • meet safety and sanitation standards
  • anticipate and understand guests' needs and exceed their expectations
  • work well in a team environment
  • execute proper pre-bake, baking, and post-bake procedures
  • decorate cakes according to design standards
