Job Duties
- Be a champion of customer service and provide excellent customer service to customers
- Greet and acknowledge customers quickly, take food orders, deliver food orders, and provide information about menu
- Retail products and promotions to customers and upsell products, maintain a solid knowledge of products, services, and special promotions
- Operate POS cash register and accurately record items purchased by the customer
- Accept customer payment and secure cash in POS cash drawer following cash handling policy
- Assist with kitchen functions such as food preparation, cooking, or dishwashing
- Ensure proper food and beverage handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, rotating, and temperature checking
- Estimate product usage and request stock to maintain proper product levels
- Regularly stock and reorganize products in the store
- Ensure proper rotation of products using FIFO method
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, utensils, pots, pans, and general areas
- Empty trash bins, sweep and mop floors
- Follow all security and safety procedures
- Interact well with coworkers offering assistance
- Notify management of any incidents or accidents
- Perform other duties as required by management.
