Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or related role preferred
  • certification or training in food safety such as HACCP
  • ability to follow food handling and workplace safety guidelines
  • strong organizational skills
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties

Job Duties

  • Perform store opening procedures such as switching on lights and machines
  • prepare the product lines required for daily needs
  • roll out, cook, and fill piadina using specific equipment while complying with food handling and workplace safety regulations
  • ensure proper supply of raw materials in the kitchen and maintain production readiness
  • dispose of expired or spoiled raw materials and products according to procedures
  • clean and maintain the kitchen and dining areas multiple times daily and at store closing
  • fill in the cleaning log according to instructions
  • record temperatures of refrigerators and displays
  • perform cash register opening and closing operations
  • take customer orders and handle payments including cash, debit, credit cards, and meal vouchers
  • assist customers with issues and involve managers when necessary
  • check kiosk functionality
  • inspect incoming goods and verify delivery notes
  • store goods following FIFO rules
  • perform store closing procedures including securing cash deposits and activating alarms
