Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months of experience in food service preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work quickly yet efficiently and thoroughly
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale device
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months of experience working in a food service environment preferred
  • Prior experience as a cook grill cook fry cook prep cook line cook chef restaurant crew or team member preferred
  • Demonstrates knowledge of safe work practices
  • Demonstrates knowledge of menu items
  • Good customer service skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Fundamental computer skills
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale device or cash register
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow directions

Job Duties

  • Ensure the work environment is clean and well-stocked including utensils equipment tables and floors
  • Ensure personal safety while operating fryers ovens and other kitchen equipment
  • Communicate clearly with all team members and guests
  • Complete transactions as a cashier when needed
  • Report maintenance issues to supervisors
  • Stock thaw cabinet and label date and store food according to procedures
  • Prepare ingredients beverages and food according to recipes and directions for distribution
  • Replenish food line items
  • Set up operate and break down food stations
  • Monitor food temperatures and hold times
  • Conduct inventory and fill out paperwork as necessary
  • Assist leadership in executing opening and closing procedures
  • Attend or complete required training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
