Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work near heat sources such as ovens
  • Capability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects
  • Must be scheduled according to business needs with no guarantee of hours
  • Must have close visual acuity
  • Ability to stand, kneel, climb, reach, and push on a regular basis

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must display sophisticated writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Must be able to handle high work volumes and perform under stress
  • Basic knowledge of arithmetic and algebra and their applications
  • Ability to perform close visual acuity tasks such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading

Job Duties

  • Serves customers correct, complete orders within service time goals according to the customer service standards
  • Prepares and ensures consistent, high-quality products are served to customers
  • Cleans and organizes work stations and ensures the standards for restaurant image are maintained as directed by management and as required by the local health department
  • Ensures that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest services
  • Practices food safety and security procedures
  • Uses standard equipment such as computers, phones, and cash registers during service
  • Maintains physical ability to stand for extended periods and work near heat and ovens
