Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Standing for 90 percent of the shift
- Sitting permitted only while taking orders for cashiers
- No sitting allowed for cooks
- Strong desire to improve cashier skills and knowledge
- Working knowledge of computers for cashiers
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus but not required
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn cooking and preparation techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company standards
- Open to flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service while handling cash and credit card transactions
- Accurately process payments and handle cash transactions
- Multitask and prioritize duties including processing payments and packaging orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work area while handling transactions and performing cleaning tasks
- Take and assemble customer orders
- Clean and sanitize the restaurant including sweeping, mopping, wiping tables and chairs, and restocking
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Refill ice bins and ensure beverages are stocked
- Assist with food prep as needed
