Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and or walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift and or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for 30 minutes a shift
- Occasionally lift and or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Ability to push or pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour a shift
- Good eye-hand coordination to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects
- Ability to climb ladder for storing or retrieving materials
- Willingness to work any assigned shift including day, night, and overnight
- Reliable onsite attendance
- Reside in or relocate to Chapel Hill, NC before starting work
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
- Experience in sales associate or cashiering roles beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated to learn and grow within the company
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team
Job Duties
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Run the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Make purchase suggestions to customers based on their needs
- Participate in the store food program activities
- Maintain high visual standards for store appearance inside and outside
- Work enthusiastically with the team to accomplish daily store goals
- Provide fast and friendly service in a busy retail environment
