Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain dedicated to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Operating restaurants throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle is unique among its peers for owning and operating all its locations in North America and Europe. The company is a pioneer in the food industry, consistently leading in areas such as digital innovation, technology, and sustainable business practices. Chipotle is widely recognized for its commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience through passionate employees, as well as its strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization. This global presence and mission-driven approach make Chipotle not only a leader in fast casual dining but also a purpose-driven business with a clear sense of social responsibility and environmental stewardship.
The role offered is an exciting opportunity to join Chipotle’s team, where fast food is redefined by focusing on quality and integrity rather than speed alone. This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals enthusiastic about beginning a rewarding career in the food service industry, whether or not they possess previous experience. Chipotle prides itself on its exceptional training programs that empower employees to work confidently at any station, including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo. The dynamic environment encourages team members to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that customers enjoy not just a meal, but a genuine dining experience.
Chipotle values growth from within, with over 80 percent of managers having been promoted from crew roles. The company supports career development through comprehensive training and provides tuition assistance covering 100 percent of select degrees or up to $5,250 per year. Employees benefit from competitive compensation ranging from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour plus eligibility for digital tips. Additional perks include free food, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, and opportunities for both full-time and part-time work.
Candidates joining Chipotle should bring a friendly, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for serving and helping others, including both customers and teammates. A desire to learn cooking skills and being at least 16 years old are part of the basic requirements. The ability to communicate in the primary language(s) of the work location is also necessary. This inclusive environment welcomes all qualified applicants and offers reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to ensure an equitable hiring process.
Joining Chipotle means becoming part of a people-first company dedicated not only to serving nutritious, high-quality food but also to fostering a culture of respect, diversity, and innovation. It is an excellent starting point for those looking to build a meaningful and progressive career in the food industry while making a positive impact on their community and the world.
