Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or bakery preferred but not mandatory
- ability to work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and nights
- must meet safety and sanitation standards
- must demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic approach to assignments
- ability to work well in a team
- attention to detail and commitment to quality
- able to respond to guest needs effectively
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a cafe or quick service restaurant preferred
- previous experience as a baker/finisher in a bakery environment preferred
- previous experience as a cake decorator preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- manual dexterity and creativity for decorating cakes
- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- ability to adapt to various shifts including overnight and weekends
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest satisfaction
- ensure service speed and product quality
- meet safety and sanitation standards
- work collaboratively within a team environment
- prepare and finish baked goods including bagels, croissants, and muffins
- decorate cakes according to design standards
- manage inventory and maintain product displays
- communicate clearly and attentively with guests and team members
- adapt to changing customer volumes with urgency
- follow recipe and sanitation guidelines
- handle online, phone, and in-person cake orders
- maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
