Job Requirements

  • Ability to work with children
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Must pass background examinations included with training
  • Minimum age of 15 years to apply

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, or currently in high school
  • Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor, coach, camp counselor, swim instructor, or childcare provider preferred
  • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification required
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with children

Job Duties

  • Act as ambassador of the Goldfish Swim School brand
  • Interact with customers, including adults and children
  • Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum or answer questions about the program
  • Maintain lifeguard credentials throughout employment
  • Report accidents and incidents to management and complete required documentation
  • Fulfill additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by the employer
