Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- Ability to communicate in the primary language(s) of the work location
- Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required in restaurant work
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Pass any required background checks and comply with company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in food service, customer service or hospitality is an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and passion for working with people
- Willingness to learn cooking and food preparation techniques
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints
Job Duties
- Prepare food by hand daily at various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa and expo
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a friendly atmosphere for guests
- Follow health and safety standards in food preparation and restaurant cleanliness
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage dining room and kitchen operations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Learn and adhere to Chipotle’s policies and procedures
- Participate in training sessions to enhance job skills and advance career opportunities
