Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old

Job Duties

  • Maintain a fast speed of service
  • resolve questions and concerns of guests
  • follow all safety and security procedures
  • follow the steps outlined in the DHC training program to learn new skills, duties, and responsibilities
  • communicate to immediate supervisor when additional training guidance and practice is needed
  • understand how each job responsibility impacts guests, employees, and overall restaurant operations
  • greet guests, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a positive and helpful attitude
  • work together with co-workers to prepare menu items following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements
  • use specific kitchen machinery and equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, and warmers
  • ensure restaurant cleanliness by clearing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing, sanitizing, and disinfecting kitchen utensils and high touch-point areas, and servicing restrooms
  • handle guests' concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems
  • maintain a neat and tidy appearance by wearing a uniform and adhering to the uniform policy
  • be performance-oriented and understand performance expectations and results
  • abide by the rules and direction given by the restaurant management team
