Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- Ability to communicate in the primary language or languages of the work location
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical demands of restaurant work
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and enthusiastic attitude
- Passion for helping and serving others including customers and team members
- Desire to learn cooking skills and restaurant operations
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary work location language
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Prior experience in food service or customer-facing roles is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare real food by hand each day without the use of freezers, microwaves, or can openers
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Operate at various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo to support restaurant operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant to meet health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, efficient service and timely food preparation
- Support efforts to uphold Chipotle’s values of responsibly sourced and high-quality ingredients
- Follow company policies and procedures to promote a positive dining experience
