Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- Ability to communicate in the primary language(s) of the work location
- Maintain a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
- Passion for helping and serving others including both customers and team members
- Desire to learn cooking and food preparation skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if necessary
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation and service
Job Duties
- Prepare food by hand in various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a friendly atmosphere
- Learn and adhere to Chipotle's food safety and sanitation standards
- Support teamwork and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
- Handle digital tips accurately and responsibly
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and advance career
