Job Requirements
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions and perform assigned tasks
- Physical capability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in conditions involving noise, chemicals, inclement weather, dirt, grease, dust and moving machinery
- Ability to use protective devices as required
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- No prior experience required
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and manual labor tasks
- Availability to work full time
- Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Duties
- Helps load and unload equipment into and out of trucks
- Assists in servicing and washing vehicles and equipment
- Picks up trash and debris, cuts grass and weeds besides streets, sidewalks and alleys
- Lowers, widens and cleans ditches
- Performs additional tasks related to street cleaning
- Uses rake, shovel and other tools or hands to push refuse spilled from trucks
- Uses hose to wash down dumping area
- May be required to perform inside housekeeping tasks for temporary length of time
- Sweeping, dusting, etc
- May be assigned temporarily to oil, grease and clean stationary motors and other machinery and equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned
