Job Requirements

  • must be available to work flexible hours including peak sales times, opening shifts, closing shifts, and weekends
  • prior experience beneficial but not required
  • must be able to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • must be able to lift between 25-50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Welcoming every guest with a smile
  • delivering fast, friendly and accurate service to all guests
  • answering guest questions related to the menu and suggestive selling to help the guest order
  • having knowledge of the various guest programs and technology such as Thanx, kiosk and online ordering
  • having full knowledge of the menu and ingredients profile for all Melt menu items
  • ensuring order accuracy upon guest delivery
  • monitoring ticket times to ensure food is delivered within THE MELT’s speed of service guidelines
  • following recipes accurately during food prep as well as sandwich builds, salads, soups, sides, and shakes
  • following all Melt policies related to uniform, grooming and personal hygiene
  • following all food safety and sanitation requirements and practices
  • ensuring guest areas such as dining room, restrooms are clean and well stocked at all times
  • ensuring your station (FOH or BOH) is clean and well stocked at all times
  • following all crew policies and procedures related to successful employment at THE MELT
  • promoting teamwork to achieve restaurant goals
  • attending and being punctual to all scheduled shifts
  • communicating with fellow crew members in a courteous and respectful manner
  • following all safety policies and procedures to eliminate risk of injury/illness for crew and guests
