Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks
- perform repetitive motions, including frequent use of hands and arms for tasks such as chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
- frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
- occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required by the role
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly as part of job duties, including but not limited to food supplies, dishware, and equipment
- when handling heavier loads, employees MUST use appropriate lifting equipment and/or seek assistance from a second person
- ability to move around the kitchen quickly and efficiently
- compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age (or comply with state-specific labor laws)
- prior food service or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- must be dependable and punctual
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and with enthusiasm
- assist customers with menu options, take accurate orders, and ensure all orders are processed correctly
- address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with a positive attitude
- maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring the restaurant is always presentable for guests
- prepare food according to Wendy's standards, ensuring accuracy and quality
- follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- ensure food portions and presentation meet company standards
- accurately handle cash transactions and process credit/debit payments
- provide change and receipts to customers in a timely manner
- keep the cash register area clean and organized
- work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient restaurant operations
- contribute to maintaining a positive and supportive work environment
- assist with inventory management and stocking as needed
- ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and restroom areas
- follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation protocols
- assist with opening and closing duties as required
- take part in training programs to develop skills and improve performance
- perform other tasks as assigned by the restaurant manager or supervisor
