Job Requirements
- Enrollment in high school
- ability to lift, pull and push 20 to 30 pounds regularly
- able to stand for the duration of the shift excluding breaks
- able to occasionally walk medium distances, kneel, bend, stoop, reach, pinch, fold and pick
- able to wear safety equipment such as non-slip shoes, gloves and apron
- able to work with machinery producing heat and with cleaning products
- commitment to punctuality and completing assigned shifts
- ability to follow company procedures and guidelines
- willingness to communicate proactively with management
- physical stamina for fast-paced work
Job Qualifications
- Enrollment in high school
- high school diploma or equivalent preferable
- good verbal communication skills
- bi-lingual skills are a plus
- strong customer service skills
- previous cash handling experience is a plus
- ability to follow safety and food handling procedures
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to learn and work various restaurant positions
- good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- willingness to take on additional duties and responsibilities
Job Duties
- Follows and complies with all company procedures, standards and guidelines
- prepares, packages and delivers all products according to menu standards
- handles all ingredients according to food safety standards to ensure health and safety of guests and team members
- follows safety, security and emergency procedures
- maintains a safe and secure environment for guests and team members
- follows all cost control guidelines to minimize restaurant costs
- adheres to cash control procedures to minimize cash handling errors
- understands performance expectations and works to improve skill-set
- follows the steps in the crew team member training program
- communicates proactively with management for additional training when needed
- works assigned station(s) with fast speed and accuracy
- cleans and stocks station area(s)
- performs other cleaning duties as assigned
- contributes to the restaurant's success by exceeding guest service guidelines
- counts register bank at start and end-of-shift
- supports methods and processes to achieve results
- performs duties as directed by management
- holds self accountable for punctuality and shift completion
- models and encourages company shared values
- focuses on guest experience
- treats all team members with honesty, respect and dignity
- promotes open and direct communication
