Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks
  • perform repetitive motions, including frequent use of hands and arms for tasks such as chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
  • frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
  • capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
  • occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required by the role
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly as part of job duties, including but not limited to food supplies, dishware, and equipment
  • when handling heavier loads, employees must use appropriate lifting equipment and/or seek assistance from a second person
  • ability to move around the kitchen quickly and efficiently
  • compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age or comply with state-specific labor laws
  • prior food service or customer service experience is a plus but not required
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • must be dependable and punctual

Job Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and with enthusiasm
  • assist customers with menu options, take accurate orders, and ensure all orders are processed correctly
  • address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with a positive attitude
  • maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring the restaurant is always presentable for guests
  • prepare food according to Wendy's standards, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • ensure food portions and presentation meet company standards
  • accurately handle cash transactions and process credit/debit payments
  • provide change and receipts to customers in a timely manner
  • keep the cash register area clean and organized
  • work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient restaurant operations
  • contribute to maintaining a positive and supportive work environment
  • assist with inventory management and stocking as needed
  • ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and restroom areas
  • follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation protocols
  • assist with opening and closing duties as required
  • take part in training programs to develop skills and improve performance
  • perform other tasks as assigned by the restaurant manager or supervisor
