Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Must be able to become Food Handler Certified within 30 days of employment
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and 50 lbs assisted
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Must be able to work scheduled hours at the restaurant
- Must follow health and safety protocols
- Appearance must comply with company grooming standards
- Ability to multitask and work under stress
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must demonstrate reliability and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a quick service restaurant setting preferred but not required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule up to 28 hours (part-time) or 40 hours (full-time) per week
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and understand health codes and procedures
- Ability to use a Point-of-Sale system
- Appearance must be neat, clean, and professional
- Ability to apply and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with tact and effective communication
Job Duties
- Know and embody the mission, vision and core values of Blake's Lotaburger
- Provide an outstanding customer experience for every customer
- Address all housekeeping duties throughout the restaurant
- Other duties/projects as assigned
- Operate cash register (POS system), accurately handle cash to make correct change, and process credit card transactions
- Assemble orders as per customer preferences and established procedures
- Prepare orders at fry and grill stations safely and efficiently
