Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours up to 40 hours per week
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
- Must obtain Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and 50 lbs assisted
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and reach for prolonged periods
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to safely handle knives and sharp objects using PPE
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Must adhere to company policies and health codes
- Appearance must be professional with restrictions on tattoos and piercings
Job Qualifications
- Experience in quick service restaurant settings preferred but not required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn Point-of-Sale systems
- Ability to read, write, and speak English (fluency not required)
- Ability to read and follow health codes and restaurant policies
- Professional, neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to multitask and work under stressful conditions
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus
Job Duties
- Know and embody the mission, vision and core values of Blake's Lotaburger
- Provide an outstanding customer experience for every customer
- Address all housekeeping duties throughout the restaurant
- Operate cash register (POS system), accurately handle cash to make correct change, and correctly process credit card transactions
- Assemble orders per customer preferences following established procedures
- Operate fryer safely and prepare orders according to standards
- Lead grill station operations adhering to cooking techniques and health codes
- Oversee daily preparation of fresh produce and morning assembly table setup
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of restaurant including trash removal and floor cleaning
