Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and 50 lbs assisted
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to work scheduled hours in the restaurant
- Must not have facial tattoos or visible inappropriate tattoos
- Must be able to handle knives safely using PPE
- Pass pre-employment background check
- Have or obtain Food Handler Certification within 30 days
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
- Must adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience in quick service restaurant setting preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible schedule up to 28 hours (part-time) or 40 hours (full-time) per week
- Professional, neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to quickly learn health codes and handling procedures
- Ability to operate Point-of-Sale system
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to become Food Handler Certified within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Know and embody the mission, vision and core values of Blake's Lotaburger
- Provide an outstanding customer experience for every customer
- Address all housekeeping duties throughout the restaurant
- Other duties/projects as assigned
- Operate cash register and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Assemble orders as per customer preferences
- Operate fryer and prepare orders according to safety standards
- Lead the grill station and manage multiple orders
- Oversee preparation of fresh produce and stock meat chest
- Maintain cleanliness of all store areas
