Broad Ripple Pizza or Papa Speedway LLC is an independent franchisee of Papa Murphy's, a well-known take-and-bake pizza company. Unlike the parent company Papa Murphy's International, Inc., Broad Ripple Pizza and Papa Speedway LLC operate as autonomous business owners. This means that their employees work directly for the franchisees and not for the international corporation. Each franchisee sets its own wage and benefits programs which can vary from one location to another, giving them the flexibility to tailor employment packages to best fit their team and community needs.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Food Handlers Card and/or Serve Safe Certified preferred but not required
Effectively read, speak, write and communicate
Build and maintain positive relationships with supervisors, co-workers and guests
Be a team player with a great attitude
Basic math skills required
Regularly stand and walk
Use hands to finger, handle or feel
Reach with hands and arms
Occasionally bend, stoop, kneel or crouch
Perform cleaning duties such as wiping tables and equipment, sweeping and mopping
Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
Maintain punctual and regular attendance

Job Duties

Exhibit readiness to perform role by wearing clean and wrinkle-free uniform and showing up on time
Prioritize and complete tasks that are essential to store operation
Adhere to Papa Murphy's store performance standards
Comply with all sanitation and safety regulations
Greet guests to create a welcoming environment
Handle phone and online orders for guest pick-up
Keep assigned areas clean, neat and well stocked
Perform tasks assigned by immediate supervisor
Work all counter stations or assigned front-of-house roles
Assist guests in menu selections, review specials, handle club cards, and participate in add-on sales
Wrap pizzas properly and give verbal baking instructions
Present orders within the 3-minute door-to-door service time
Assist guests with carrying pizzas or holding doors
Follow proper cash, check, credit card and food stamp transaction procedures
Process voids, refunds, coupons and gift certificates
Learn operating and safety knowledge of mixer, sheeter and dicer
Make products following portion charts and performance standards
Store and rotate products to ensure quality
Mix dough and prepare dough balls as needed
Sheet, wrap, date and store crusts
Perform duties of runner or dish person as directed
