Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- Ability to communicate in the primary language(s) of the work location
- Passion for helping and serving others including customers and team members
- Friendly and enthusiastic attitude
- Desire to learn how to cook
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills in the primary language of the work location
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn cooking techniques and food preparation
- Ability to provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
Job Duties
- Prepare food by hand daily at various stations including grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills and confidence across all restaurant functions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet restaurant performance and quality goals
- Follow company procedures and uphold Chipotle's commitment to sustainability and quality standards
- Assist in inventory management and stocking as needed
