- ability to bend twist and stand for prolonged periods
- ability to speak read and comprehend instructions short correspondence and policy documents
- ability to lift and move food and beverage products
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- customer service and cash handling experience preferred
- commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
- must be able to follow HMSHost customer service policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service experience preferred
- ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- basic knowledge of food safety and handling
- effective communication skills
- ability to operate fryers microwaves and other kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- clean and stock customer eating areas workstations and equipment
- greet all customers with a smile and friendly greeting and follow all HMSHost customer service policies and procedures
- maintain a solid knowledge of product and services available in unit
- transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
- assist with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed
- receive inventory move and lift food and beverage products and supplies
- perform all other responsibilities as directed by management or the business
