Job Requirements

At least 16 years old
Strong interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and ability to learn quickly
Availability to work flexible hours including peak sales times, opening shifts, closing shifts, and weekends
Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read and communicate in English
Ability to lift between 25-50 lbs

Job Duties

Welcoming every guest with a smile
Delivering fast, friendly and accurate service to all guests
Answering guest questions related to the menu and suggestive selling to help the guest order
Having knowledge of the various guest programs and technology such as Thanx, Kiosk and Online Ordering
Having full knowledge of the menu and ingredients profile for all Melt menu items
Ensuring order accuracy upon guest delivery
Monitoring ticket times to ensure food is delivered within THE MELT's speed of service guidelines
Following recipes accurately during food prep as well as sandwich builds, salads, soups, sides, and shakes
Following all Melt policies related to Uniform, Grooming and Personal Hygiene
Following all food safety and sanitation requirements and practices
Ensuring Guest Areas such as dining room, restrooms are clean and well stocked at all times
Ensuring your station (FOH or BOH) is clean and well stocked at all times
Following all Crew policies and procedures related to successful employment at THE MELT
Promoting teamwork to achieve restaurant goals
Attending and being punctual to all scheduled shifts
Communicating with fellow crew members in a courteous and respectful manner
Following all safety policies and procedures to eliminate risk of injury/illness for crew and guests
