  • ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays
  • must be able to work on-site at assigned base/location

  • ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays
  • must be able to work on-site at assigned base/location
  • current or previous inflight crew manager
  • flight attendant experience
  • knowledge and experience with American-specific systems including SABRE/DECS-FOS, Absence Tracker, Attendance and Performance/Flight Caps, Tableau
  • experience working with represented labor groups
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
  • ability to work and make decisions independently

Job Duties

  • Manage the day-to-day performance reports for an assigned group of flight attendants
  • lead all performance conversations and update and document flight attendants’ records in the Attendance and Performance System (APS)
  • ensure flight attendants understand and comply with inflight policies, procedures, and regulations
  • provide coaching and counseling to flight attendants to address performance concerns
  • implement appropriate action for violations, up to and including dismissal
  • support inflight initiatives related to flight attendant performance
  • participate in task forces to problem solve and plan the future direction of the Performance team
