- current or previous inflight crew manager
- flight attendant experience
- knowledge and experience with American-specific systems including SABRE/DECS-FOS, Absence Tracker, Attendance and Performance/Flight Caps, Tableau
- experience working with represented labor groups
- knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
- ability to work and make decisions independently
Job Duties
- Manage the day-to-day performance reports for an assigned group of flight attendants
- lead all performance conversations and update and document flight attendants’ records in the Attendance and Performance System (APS)
- ensure flight attendants understand and comply with inflight policies, procedures, and regulations
- provide coaching and counseling to flight attendants to address performance concerns
- implement appropriate action for violations, up to and including dismissal
- support inflight initiatives related to flight attendant performance
- participate in task forces to problem solve and plan the future direction of the Performance team
