Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Current flight service, passenger service or passenger sales experience
  • Flight Attendant experience
  • Knowledge and experience in American specific systems including SABRE, NAVIA, Case Manager, Attendance and Performance System/FlightCAPs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skill
  • Knowledge of working with a contract labor group
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects at the same time
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges

Job Duties

  • Work on and off par reporting for assigned groups and transitions Flight Attendants to Level 2+ when warranted
  • Leads all attendance conversations in base and updates APS regularly with documentation
  • Processes mitigation in line with contractual and company policy in collaboration with FSM and local base management
  • Serve as local contact for reinstatement and leave policy questions including FMLA and medical leaves
  • Support local base operations and local APFA
  • Coach and counsel Flight Attendants to ensure understanding and compliance of all company and departmental policies, procedures and regulations
  • Initiate appropriate corrective action, up to and including dismissal
  • Participate in task forces and planning activities to problem solve and plan the future direction of the department
  • Support various initiatives set by Flight Service
  • Ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays
