Job Requirements
- possess a valid Class C Texas driver’s license by date of hire
- pass FBI fingerprint-based background check by date of hire
- pass TSA Security Threat Assessment by date of hire
- may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- successfully completed or complete within 90 days FAA acceptable aviation fuel training course in fire safety
- graduate from high school or equivalent
- one year experience operating civilian or military aviation fuel service equipment or two years as an aviation line services technician preferred
- ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- ability to establish effective working relationships
- ability to perform arithmetic computations accurately and quickly
- basic computer skills
- ability to work independently
- skill in time management
- skill in operation of equipment
- ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
- working knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in fueling and servicing aircraft
- ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance

Job Duties
- operate and maintain aviation fuel service trucks and fuel storage facilities
- train line service technicians according to FAA Part 139 Certification and department requirements
- perform ground guide duties and aircraft towing
- assist the Line Services Supervisor and perform duties in their absence
- receive payments for aviation services such as fuel and de-icing
- conduct quality control checks on bulk fuel deliveries
- assist with Charter flight inspections and security compliance
- perform minor building and grounds maintenance
- maintain and repair ground handling and fueling equipment
- respond to aviation-related emergencies
- act as receptionist for the general aviation terminal
- serve on assigned committees
- adhere to work schedule and city personnel policies
- perform other duties as assigned
