Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior food service experience is a plus
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • assist the register operator with filling orders
  • know proper serving and bagging procedures and be able to bag to-go orders
  • thank each customer as they receive their completed order
  • ensure bagged orders are complete with receipt placed in the bag
  • keep bagged orders separated at the Pick Up Window to prevent errors
  • greet customers and accurately fill out customer checks
  • suggest additional items for customer meals
  • assist customers requiring special assistance
  • clean trays and return them to the service line
  • clean tables and chairs after each use
  • use hand-held carpet sweeper as needed
  • realign tables and chairs
  • spot clean glass windows and doors
  • maintain cleanliness of restrooms
  • replenish condiment stand items
  • press meat to specification and perform visual quality checks
  • turn and press meat patties
  • serve meat to both service lines when necessary
  • cook grilled chicken and prepare baked potatoes
  • water clean grill surface and maintain cleanliness
  • determine orders using video monitor or headset
  • portion and serve fries, nuggets, and drinks
  • retrieve fries and nuggets from walk-in freezer
  • cook and drain fries properly
  • wear disposable gloves while preparing sandwiches
  • retrieve and replenish sandwich station items
  • prepare baked potatoes to order
  • carry ice buckets to service line bins
  • handle cash transactions at register
  • relay orders using speaker system
  • assist with bagging orders
  • perform opening duties such as lettuce and tomato preparation
  • clean windows and maintain landscaped areas
  • restock products from freezer and walk-in cooler
  • clean and sanitize dishes
  • empty trash to dumpster
  • operate can opener and onion slicer
  • perform pre-close duties including cleaning chili stove and filtering fryers
