Job Requirements
- must have proof of citizenship or eligibility to work in the us
- must be at least 16 years of age
- ability to stand continuously and perform frequent bending, stooping, lifting and stretching
- ability to work irregular hours nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to multitask
- comply with all sonic drive-in policies and procedures
- successfully complete all star certification and sonic training requirements
- general knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail operations preferred
- exposure to heat, hot liquids, and extreme weather conditions occasionally
Job Qualifications

- compliance with Sonic Drive-In policies and health and sanitation regulations
- completion of STAR certification and other Sonic training programs
- general knowledge of restaurant or retail operations preferred
Job Duties
- performing all duties in the basic stations including fountain and frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, carhop, skating carhop and drive-thru
- giving team help and support to other crew and managers when assigned duties are caught up
- operating switchboard and recording customer orders clearly
- operating drive-thru window and sales register accurately and efficiently
- preparing fountain drinks and ice cream items
- preparing food by cutting, chopping and cooking on grill or fryers
- packaging all menu items and placing drinks in carriers
- serving food to customers efficiently in drive-thru and other stations
- moving food products weighing up to 50 pounds
- disposing of trash and cleaning all areas of the drive-in including floors, restrooms and patio
- washing and sanitizing food areas, tools and hands frequently
