Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Veterinary technician certification or licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT)
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a veterinary technician or newly licensed
  • Ability to work rotating 10-hour shifts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to quality patient care
  • Ability to use new technology and adapt quickly

Job Qualifications

  • Veterinary technician certification or licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT)
  • One or more years of experience as a veterinary technician
  • Newly licensed technicians encouraged to apply
  • Strong clinical skills and medical knowledge
  • Ability to educate and communicate effectively with pet owners
  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally
  • Team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Focus on patient care including patient handling and husbandry
  • Educate clients on pet health and care
  • Assist in surgical, dental nursing, and anesthesia management
  • Maintain detailed medical records and diagnostic management
  • Administer medications accurately
  • Perform emergency triage and response
  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians and nurses to push veterinary medicine boundaries
