Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
  • Five years of experience in communications, internal communications or community relations
  • Experience in video production including pre-production, production, post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition
  • Proficient with professional video/audio equipment and Chroma Key technology
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud for graphic design and print production
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with team members
  • Willingness to attend community outreach events including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
  • Five years of recent and relevant experience in communications, internal communications or community relations
  • Experience with all aspects of video production including pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery for digital, social and web
  • Working knowledge of professional video/audio equipment and Chroma Key
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud for graphic design and print production

Job Duties

  • Proactively identify Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller services to promote through video storytelling, public service announcements, infographics and other methods
  • Design print materials including posters, signage, brochures, flyers and other items as needed
  • Take primary responsibility for video recording and editing
  • scout locations for video shoots and secure necessary permissions
  • set up shoots including lighting, sound, teleprompter and other technical logistics
  • produce video stories/content for multi-media formats including web and social media
  • Prepare photos, graphics and other visual content for the website, social media channels, electronic publications and print materials
  • Assist in content development and messaging strategy
  • Provide individual visual/video communications support to subject-matter experts regarding effective communication strategies and tools
  • Collaborate on related video projects and manage video production
  • Represent the Clerk's office at community outreach events including occasional nights and weekends
  • Maintain knowledge of computer operating systems and software programs
  • Identify and apply best practices for communications
  • exercise confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters
