Job Requirements
- Must pass a criminal background check (CORI and SORI)
- Experience facilitating youth or community programming
- Experience organizing events and coordinating logistics
- Flexible work schedule including part-time and full-time seasonal hours
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with youth and community members
- Proficiency in managing virtual and in-person event platforms

- Experience in arts and culture, youth development, community organizing, or event planning

Job Duties
- Plan and co-facilitate weekly or bi-weekly sessions with youth participants including workshops, training, guest speakers, panels, field trips, action planning, and community engagement
- Participate in weekly or bi-weekly meetings with Division of Youth Opportunities and Culture Division staff
- Lead administrative tasks including managing program data, tracking, and evaluation
- Manage program logistics such as virtual platforms, in-person spaces, and communications with youth, staff, families, and stakeholders
- Co-organize and co-host in-person events including the annual Color the City Festival
- Mentor Youth Leaders alongside Artist Mentors
- Liaise between program staff, city divisions, community partners, and participants
