Job Requirements
- basic knowledge of restaurant service
- strong knowledge of beverage preparation and sanitation
- able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
- physically able to lift and carry loads of up to 50 lbs properly
- able to reach levels up to seven feet in height
- able to maneuver and work in spaces as narrow as 1 1/2 feet
- able to work productively in a fast-paced environment
- must have knowledge of and be able to use all bar equipment and appliances
- able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing
- must have recent fine dining restaurant experience
- open availability and verifiable references to be considered

Job Duties
- arrive for assigned work on time
- be in proper uniform, neat and orderly
- have all required tools on hand (pens, wine opener, name tag, supplies)
- stock and maintain food, beverage, and supply par levels at bars
- have recipe knowledge of all drinks and mix all beverages consistently without under- or over-pouring liquor
- uphold liquor serving laws and never serve minors or yacht crewmembers
- maintain responsibility for the point-of-sale system and properly charge guests for purchases at the bar
- maintain and clean all equipment located at the bar
- maintain a sanitary work area, clean and free of clutter especially concerning Board of Health sanitation requirements
- receive beverage items and supplies and store them in proper areas per FIFO inventory method
- organize and clean liquor cage, walk-in cooler, soda storage area, juice and coffee storage racks, wine coolers, and other directed areas
- maintain a positive and supportive work environment via professional communication with co-workers
- support and follow all company policies, procedures, and programs including Yacht Hospitality System and Starship Safety
- promote good business principles by not discussing company business in public or with guests
- exhibit and encourage proper hygiene and sanitary habits
- be friendly, courteous, and cheerful at all times
- assist other crewmembers and departments to contribute to the best overall operation of the Yacht
- fill station bill requirements and participate in drills concerning passenger safety
- perform all other duties as assigned or requested by management
