Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests with a smile according to HMSHost customer service standards
- record customer reservations or seating times accurately
- maintain and update restaurant seating charts
- set up and maintain the dining room areas
- assist with stocking silverware and dining essentials
- advise guests on menu and beverage choices
- oversee food and beverage delivery and service
- liaise between kitchen and floor staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- perform cashier and bus person duties as needed
- follow cash handling policies and maintain cash security
- patrol assigned station to refill beverages and clear service items
- perform various support tasks during downtime including rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing dishes, preparing to-go food, and maintaining condiment stations
