Job Requirements

  • At least five years of progressive hotel experience in Rooms or Food and Beverage
  • Supervisory background required
  • Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure
  • Must hold or obtain certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining professional appearance and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least five years of progressive hotel experience in Rooms or Food and Beverage
  • A four-year degree with 2-3 years of related experience or a two-year degree with 3-4 years of related experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with financial analysis and operational data
  • Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and collaborating with the General Manager
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure efficient hotel operations
  • Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff
  • develop team members through ongoing training and development programs
  • Maintain clear communication with colleagues and guests, ensuring concerns are addressed and information flows smoothly
  • Analyze financial information and data to support operational decisions and improve profitability
  • Utilize Windows Operating Systems for management and reporting tasks
  • Enforce professional appearance and grooming standards among staff
  • Provide friendly, service-focused interactions to enhance guest and team satisfaction
