Job Requirements

  • At least five years of progressive hotel experience (Rooms or Food and Beverage)
  • A four-year degree with 2-3 years of related experience
  • A two-year degree with 3-4 years of related experience
  • Supervisory background required
  • Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure
  • Must hold or obtain certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid

Job Duties

  • Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by skillfully managing teams and partnering with the General Manager to keep everything running smoothly
  • Proactively spot challenges and tackle them head-on to ensure every day at the hotel flows as efficiently as possible
  • Play a key role in recruiting, hiring, and training Guest Services staff, and help all team members grow through development programs and ongoing training
  • Listen actively, understand concerns, and keep the lines of communication clear with both colleagues and guests
  • Work confidently with financial info and data to support hotel operations
  • Use Windows Operating Systems for smooth management and insightful reporting
  • Set the standard for professional appearance and grooming, making sure everyone meets company guidelines
  • Bring a friendly, service-focused attitude to every guest and teammate interaction
