Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in rooms or food and beverage department in a hotel
  • 4-year college degree with 2 to 3 years of related experience or 2-year college degree with 3 to 4 years of related experience
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Effective in handling stressful, high-pressure situations maintaining composure and objectivity
  • Compliance with certification requirements such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid

Job Duties

  • Supervise operating departments and assist General Manager in achieving hotel profitability
  • Anticipate and address workplace issues proactively to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training Guest Services staff
  • Support ongoing training of all departments in service standards
  • Listen to and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests maintaining clear communication
  • Work with and understand financial data performing basic arithmetic functions
  • Utilize Windows Operating Systems for effective management and reporting
  • Maintain high personal appearance and grooming standards compliance
  • Approach interactions with guests and employees attentively and service-oriented
