Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in institutional quality cooking
- Previous experience as a grill cook or line cook preferred
- Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 7:45 p.m.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle kitchen heat conditions

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience working in institutional quality cooking
- Previous experience as a grill cook or line cook in a restaurant, retail dining, or campus food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills
- Dependable and punctual with consistent attendance
Job Duties
- Maintain portion control, food quality, and visual presentation standards
- Operate and maintain grill and related kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with university and state health department food safety and sanitation regulations
- Accurately time and coordinate multiple orders to ensure prompt service through online and pickup systems
- Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift and assist with daily opening and closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Courtyard Kitchen, including proper food storage and labeling
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with staff
- Support team members and assist in other kitchen duties as needed
