Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to a four-year degree with 2-3 years of related experience or a two-year degree with 3-4 years of related experience
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Ability to remain calm and objective under pressure
  • Must hold or be able to obtain Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid certifications
  • Overtime eligibility and ability to work varied shifts as needed
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • At least five years of progressive hotel experience or related education
  • Supervisory background with experience managing diverse teams
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems and hotel management software
  • Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of guest service and operational excellence
  • Possession or willingness to obtain certifications including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid

Job Duties

  • Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and partnering with the General Manager
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure efficient daily hotel operations
  • Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff and support ongoing team development programs
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and guests
  • Manage financial information and data to support operational decision-making
  • Utilize Windows Operating Systems for management and reporting tasks
  • Uphold professional appearance and grooming standards among staff
  • Deliver a friendly, service-focused attitude in all guest and team interactions
