Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to a four-year degree with 2-3 years of related experience or a two-year degree with 3-4 years of related experience
- Supervisory experience required
- Ability to remain calm and objective under pressure
- Must hold or be able to obtain Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid certifications
- Overtime eligibility and ability to work varied shifts as needed
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- At least five years of progressive hotel experience or related education
- Supervisory background with experience managing diverse teams
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems and hotel management software
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Commitment to upholding high standards of guest service and operational excellence
- Possession or willingness to obtain certifications including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid
Job Duties
- Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and partnering with the General Manager
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure efficient daily hotel operations
- Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff and support ongoing team development programs
- Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and guests
- Manage financial information and data to support operational decision-making
- Utilize Windows Operating Systems for management and reporting tasks
- Uphold professional appearance and grooming standards among staff
- Deliver a friendly, service-focused attitude in all guest and team interactions
