Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel supervisory or management roles
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective decision-making abilities
  • Must be willing to work the minimum required hours per workweek
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team of associates

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hotel management or a related hospitality field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work extended hours to meet job demands
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in revenue generation and cost control
  • Ability to use discretion and independent judgment effectively
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and guest services

Job Duties

  • Ensure guest satisfaction and the efficient operation of the hotel by supervising operating departments in the absence of the General Manager and/or the Manager on Duty
  • Assist the General Manager by focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, and associate development
  • Work as much as necessary to complete job responsibilities, meeting or exceeding a minimum of 47.5 hours per workweek
  • Customarily direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates or their equivalents
  • Perform administrative, executive, or professional tasks more than 50 percent of the time
  • Use discretion and independent judgment more than 50 percent of the time
  • Maintain high service standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment
