Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education degree GED
  • six to nine months related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to run walk and stand for upwards of 8 hours
  • knowledge of hotel operating systems
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • weekend availability
  • ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally

  • FOSSE experience strongly preferred

Job Duties

  • deliver exceptional guest care with each interaction with guests upon arrival during their stay and upon departure to checkout
  • confer and cooperate with other departments to ensure coordination of activities
  • answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services
  • advise guests of available activities such as swimming tennis basketball and other sports
  • receive and process advance registration payments
  • stock and check out guests in the Market
  • greet register and assign rooms to guests in a friendly manner
  • issue room keys
  • provide room directions to guests
  • transmit and receive telephone messages
  • ensure shift checklist is complete
  • keep record of room availability and guests accounts
  • answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services registration of guests and shopping dining entertainment and travel directions
  • compute bill collect payment and make change for guests
  • post charges such as room food liquor or telephone to folio
  • deposit guests valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box
  • arrange for special services for guests upon request
  • perform additional duties as assigned by guest care supervisors guest care manager
