Job Duties
- Bag groceries for customers efficiently with care to avoid damage
- Arrange items to maximize bag space and ensure at least five items per bag
- Follow best practices for bagging using reusable, plastic, and paper bags
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from baskets and helping with loading items into their cars
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to store shelves
- Gather and return basket carts to designated areas
- Clean spills and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise displays
- Conduct price checks and assist cashiers with locating products
- Adhere to all safety and food safety regulations
- Report unsafe conditions and equipment needs
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service by answering product and store-related questions
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflict professionally
- Uphold company values of honesty, integrity, respect, and inclusion
- Provide support and assistance to customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
